For centuries, Tuscany has been a Mecca and an inspiration for painters; in our time, photographers have joined this respectable group. Every ambitious landscape painter has Tuscan views in his portfolio. Why this region?
The Tuscan countryside is wonderfully photogenic in terms of both forms and colors. The gentle-shaped hills emerging from behind the other take on various shades of green in spring and brown in autumn. The arches of the hills harmonize beautifully with the soaring shapes of the trees, and the mansions and towns on the hills, in the natural colors of the local land, complete the picture. Brown walls, topped with red roofs, and often also picturesque towers, blend in wonderfully with the greenery of the vineyards, dark streaks of cypress trees and the blue Italian sky. Plus the cities there ... if you've ever wondered why the masters of painting used paints with the bizarre names of siena and siena burned - you will find the solution to this puzzle in Siena itself. Nowhere do warm shades on the decorated walls and portals of narrow streets harmonize with each other. In Tuscany there are brick and marble cities, stone cities, dying and flourishing cities. And all moody.
What more do you need? In order for photos to turn out beautifully, you need to know the rules of photography, the ability to use the right techniques in the right situations, knowledge about composition and the use of light. This is what we provide on photo expeditions: one-of-a-kind expeditions in search of beautiful photographs.

Ewa Prus and Piotr Dębek After studying Roman and German studies, Ewa switched from languages to photography - because one picture is worth a thousand words. Piotr soaked up photography when he was a few years old, assisting his father in the darkroom - he remembers the smell of reagents well to this day and appreciates digital photography even more. For over a decade, since 2002, first in the monthly "CHIP", then "CHIP Foto Video Digital" (which changed into "Digital Foto Video" and later "FOTO PLUS"), they popularize photography with hundreds of guide and workshop articles. They are the authors of several books on photography and a growing number of e-books. Together, they have been running photography workshops since 2010, and photo expeditions since 2011. Their favorite landscapes are the Tuscan hills, Iceland's waterfalls and the shores of Greek islands, and they like the alleys of cities in every part of the world. They write about travel photography not only on the blog www.ewaipiotr.pl |
